The NSBS1 junction box is suitable for use in cable cabinets or similar for outdoor use (laid underground or in manholes, see eg WTC-boxes).
The NSBS1 is used in distribution networks when branching between multifibre cable and several micro-cables is required. The box has 4 entries for supply cable and is suitable for midspan and 12 outputs for micro-cable. The box can of course also be used for normal straight splicing.
The box is especially suitable for use in Duolink™ type subscription connection systems. In Duolink the existing micro-tube is used, inside type SE-N1XE-U/-R service cables, between the cable cabinet and the subscriber’s facade cabinet as a micro duct for the micro-cables.
