Defrost mat is an electric heating mat that is easy to use for defrosting of frozen ground. It connects with a standard plug.
It can easily remove frost from the ground if you need to dig in the winter. It is suitable to defrost icing outside entrances or frozen pipes, wells and cisterns.
Defrost mat is made of special treated PVC-coated nylonfibre. The insulation is self-extinguishing foam. The mat also has a built-in automatic temperature control at about 60 ° C.
Energy consumption is extremely low, during the warm-up time 7.2 kWh / m² / day. For maintenance of heat energy consumption is significantly lower.
