EQLQ Easy is a halogen free, HFFR-insulated, aluminium taped, HFFR sheathed building wiring cable with circular, solid copper conductors. No talkum is used in the cable.The cable has a drain wire of twisted tinned copper wires under and in contact with the aluminium tape. EQLQ is designed according to SS 424 02 19-6 in applicable parts. The conductors have resistance and number of wires according to IEC 60228 class 1. The cores are identified by colours according to HD 308. The sheath is marked type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. EQLQ Easy meets the requirements for flammability according to IEC 60332-1 (F2 and F3) and have protection against exposure of UV-light according to HD 626 S1 part 2.5.1. The conductor insulation shall be protected against UV light that can occur for example in light fixtures and light signs. The cable is certified by SEMKO.
2nd Generation
Common for the second generation of halogen-free cables from Nexans is that they are convenient to work with, easy to peel and scratch-, abrasion and dirt resistant. They are fire restrictive and emits no corrosive gases in case of fire.
Lifemark(TM) recycling marking
The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling.
