The WTC1.2 fibre-optic splice closure is used for straight splicing or branching of tube (LT) and/or fibre ribbon cables (RI) with 12-72 fibres. It can be laid directly in the ground or in manholes. The box has 4 cable ports for mechanical sealing.
Depending on cable diameter, up to 48 cables can be connected in WTC1.2.
Splice closures come in 2 different configurations, intended for different numbers of fibres and cassettes. See each Item Number for more information. Splice closure as below have four cassettes (12 fibre/cassette) and cable clamps. Cable sealing and one blind plug are ordered separately.
