During Safety Days, managers gather in small groups at plant’s critical areas, where they are asked to analyze every task performed with a “safety eye.” Thanks to this direct exchange with operators, they get explanations on working methods and potential risks. The goal of these workshops is to conduct a review and a practical exercise, such as assessing risks or participating in electrical testing. Once the assessments have been completed, the groups come back together to report to the whole group, to discuss the potential risks identified and to suggest improvements.
This experience is beneficial in every perspective because it reinforces consistency and awareness in workplace health and safety, while simultaneously involving participants at various operational levels.
