One of the key missions assigned to the Group’s Safety Manager is to identify and share safety best practices with all units of the network. A best practices database is present on the Industrial Department website and constantly updated.
We can find, for example, Fire Equipment Management system on the Battipaglia Italy site. We also find 3A Risk Assessment methodology used in French plants (“Agir Avant Accident”: Act Before Accident), which encourages operators to report hazard and risk situations and to propose preventive measures to avoid accidents. A similar method is used at the Tuzla Turkey site where, as part of its continuous improvement program, any employee can make suggestions for improvement in any area, including safety, by using a suggestion box.
