Nexans' answers

A reliable global supplier

We've been active on the Swedish market since 1948. We are now part of the Nexans group, a world leader in cables headquartered in Paris. Our Grimsås facility has a workforce of 500 in production, logistics and marketing.

Every year we make more than a thousand types of cable at Grimsås, including power cables, installation cables, copper telephone cables, fibre optic cables and special cables for automotive and white goods manufacturers. This amounts to more than 47,000 tonnes of cable. We receive orders from companies operating in electricity and telecoms networks, roads, railways, shipbuilding, oil and gas, nuclear power, automotive, electronics, material handling and automation. It's safe to say that we know all about cables.
