Alsecure Plus is a halogen free, flame retardant power cable with circular, annealed, stranded copper conductors. The cable is insulated with Mica tape+coloured XLPE and has a screen of longitudinally aluminium tape in combination with a drain wire. Alsecure Plus is designed according to HD 604.5. The conductors have resistance and number of wires according to IEC 60228 class 2. The cores are identified by colours according to HD 308. The sheath is marked type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. Alsecure Plus meets the requirements for flammability IEC 60332-3 category C and emits no corrosive gases when burning and has low smoke production. REMARK! As a market action we will change from black to orange colour. This mean that we will deliver both black and orange during some time. There is no technical changes, only the colour.
Lifemark(TM) recycling marking
The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling.
The fire characteristics
Tested and approved according to several international standards, among others IEC 60331, IEC 60332-3 cat C SS 424 14 75, IEC 61034, IEC 60754-2.
