Together for children’s right to education

Education is a human right, but for millions of children in crisis, going to school is far from guaranteed. War, poverty, and natural disasters disrupt childhood, and without access to school, children lose not only the opportunity to learn to read, write, and do arithmetic – but also the protection that school can provide in dangerous situations.

Nexans supports Musikhjälpen 2025 and this year’s theme: Every child’s right to education. The fundraising helps children who are displaced or living in crisis-affected areas gain access to classrooms, school supplies, meals, and psychosocial support – as well as targeted support for girls and children with disabilities

Hear Hassan’s story

Hassan came to Sweden from Afghanistan in 2015 as an unaccompanied refugee, with no prior schooling.

Today, he is building both industry and his future as an electrical machine builder. His journey shows the power of education and why this year’s Musikhjälpen theme is so important.
