Alsecure EXQ Easy™. Easy to work with. Essential when it matters most.

Nexans is launching Alsecure EXQ Easy, an unshielded, fire-resistant installation cable that combines easy installation with reliable performance when it matters most. Easy to work with on an ordinary day. Essential on the day that isn’t.

This is not a fire extinguisher

And it isn’t supposed to be.

Once a fire breaks out, other things take care of that part. Alsecure EXQ Easy has a different job: helping essential safety systems keep working when they’re needed most.

Fire alarms that need to sound.
Emergency lighting that needs to stay on.
Evacuation systems that need to help people find their way out.

In short: the things you hope you never have to think about, but absolutely need to work when it matters.

Alsecure EXQ Easy is fire-resistant for 120 minutes.

Easy isn’t just a name

Fire safety matters, of course. But before a cable might have to perform under extreme conditions, someone has to install it. That’s where the Easy part comes in.

Alsecure EXQ Easy is built on the familiar EXQ Easy and shares the same philosophy as the rest of the Nexans Easy range: a cable that’s easy to handle and easy to work with, from the first metre to the final connection. The difference? It now keeps working in a fire.

Less hassle during installation. A smoother working day. A fire-resistant cable that makes installation straightforward while meeting demanding safety requirements.

For installations where performance in a fire is essential

Fire-resistant cables are used in installations where essential systems need to keep working even when exposed to fire. These include fire alarms, emergency lighting, evacuation systems and other safety-critical functions in buildings.

With the new Nexans Alsecure EXQ Easy, installers get an unshielded, fire-resistant installation cable that brings two important things together: easy installation on an ordinary day and reliable performance when the day becomes anything but ordinary.

Hopefully, it will never have to prove what it can do. But if that day comes, it’s good to know it can.
