EBR Method & Machinery Days in Karlstad, May 19–22!
Mar 18, 2026
Come and meet us!
What does the future power grid really look like? And what do new materials, smarter solutions and sustainability mean in practice? During the EBR Method & Machinery Days in Karlstad, we’ll be on site to demonstrate, discuss and share our perspective on the future of power grid cables.
You’ll find us at the Cable Technology station, where our experts are happy to talk about the next generation of low‑ and medium‑voltage cables – and how they can contribute to both easier work in the field and a more circular power grid.
See, test and explore cable technology
At Nexans, we go one step further than just showing products – here you can touch, test and experience our new low‑ and medium‑voltage cables with thermoplastic insulation (TPI), including:
• Turning, jointing and preparation of AML 1 kV and AMCL 12–24 kV
• Mechanical testing on Duolex
• Ultracker – our digital system for cable drum tracking
• Cable fault location using sheath fault equipment and the step‑voltage method
• Our service vehicle on site, equipped for VLF and PD measurements
All with a clear focus on practical value, sustainability and the future needs of power grids.
A perfect opportunity to connect
The EBR Method & Machinery Days are one of the industry’s most important meeting places – an opportunity to explore new working methods, technologies and solutions. At Nexans, you’ll have the chance to meet our specialists, exchange experiences and deepen the dialogue around tomorrow’s medium‑voltage solutions – from both a practical and strategic perspective.
Welcome to Nexans at the Cable Technology station – we look forward to seeing you in Karlstad!
