Nexans invites companies to information meetings in Visby and Oskarshamn to learn more about the Gotland Interconnector and the opportunities the project may create over the coming years.

The Gotland Interconnector is an important investment in the electricity infrastructure of the future. Svenska kraftnät is expanding the transmission grid to Gotland to strengthen the island’s electricity supply, meet growing demand for electricity, and support continued electrification and the energy transition.

Nexans Norway has been awarded the contract to supply and install the cables for the project. During the information meetings, we will provide further details about the project’s scope and schedule, as well as the products, services, and expertise that may be required during its various phases.

We are particularly interested in meeting companies operating in areas such as:

• Civil works and construction
• Transport and logistics
• Marine services
• Consulting and engineering services
• Staffing and support services
• Site establishment and ancillary services
