Description
AMCL is a halogen free, three core with circular aluminium conductors, PP-PE-insulation, CU screen cable and a sheath of recycled polyethele with an outer layer of HDPE. The cable is designed according to HD 620 S3 i.a.p. / SS 424 14 20 and the conductor meets the requirements for IEC 60228 class 2. The sheath opens with a rip cord and is marked type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. The sheath opens with cable rip cord. AMCL is produced with low carbon aluminum and is easy to recycle. Joint and cable terminations are standard materials from accesory manufacturers. Maximum pulling force using cable stocking: F (N)= 5 x D² (D is outer cable diameter in mm).
Lifemark™ recycling marking
The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling. All the materials in the cable are easy to recycle.
Standards
AMCL is manufactured and tested according to HD 620 S3 i.a.p. / SS 424 14 20. The cable can be loaded according to SS 424 14 20.
