Description
AMLJ TTCL is a longitudinally and radial watertight, 1-core cable with PP-TPE-insulation, CU screen and a sheath of recycled polyethelene. The outer layer of the sheath is semiconductive. AMLJ TTCL is produced with low carbon aluminum and is easy to recycle. The cable is designed according HD 620 and 12K. The conductor has resistance and number of wires according to IEC 60228 class 2. Joint and cable terminations are standard materials from accesory manufacturers.
Sheath integrity may be tested while on drum, before backfilling, in plastic pipes etc.
The sheath is marked type/manufacturer/year+month/metre marking. AMLJ TTCL is not flame retardant.
The sheath opens with cable rip cord.
The following applies if presstools are used:
The actual copperscreen are one cross section lower than the typemarking. This means that if the screen is 25 mm² the connector should be 16 mm².
Lifemark™ recycling marking
The external surface of the outer sheath is embossed with a text which specifies all components in the polymers and prepares the cable for future recycling.
Standards
The cable is constructed according to HD 620 and 12K. The cable can be loaded according to SS 424 14 20.
Quality system
Designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with ISO 9001.

This product is part of the low carbon range of Nexans : a selection of products ensuring the reduction of the carbon footprint and subject to rigourous ecodesign criteria.
Nexans Low Carbon Selection Criteria: minimum integration of 10% recycled copper or aluminum and/or 100% low-carbon aluminum sourcing.
Read more Read less- Amount of CO2 emitted Cradle to Gate phase (raw material collection and manufacturing), for the production of 1 km of cable.
- Percentage of recycled plastic contained in the sheath.
- 5t CO2 / t represents a 40% reduction to the European average for aluminium used (8.6t CO2 / t of aluminium - European Aluminium association 2018).
- The product reference value is calculated based on the final average value of aluminium. The reductions achieved are linked to the use of carbon-free energy sources.
