ELQvinnorna

The electrical industry is one of the worst industries in Sweden in terms of gender distribution. Of the members of the Electricians' Union, only about 3.5% are women. On November 7th, 19 of them came to visit us at Nexans in Grimsås. We are very pleased that ELQvinnorna from southwestern Sweden chose a factory visit at Nexans as part of their conference.

Bio-based transport

Nexans Sweden is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001, demonstrating that we meet concrete and recognized environmental requirements. We have also set a goal of achieving net-zero emissions from the Grimsås factory by 2026. But we aim for more. Transportation is a significant source of emissions, and the transportation to and from our Grimsås factory is no exception. These are areas that can be influenced!

Three Fiber Trends

On October 12, Fiberdagen 2023 took place in Holsljunga, an inspiring autumn fair where "the most innovative exhibitors in fiber blowing gather to showcase their latest products, methods, and technologies." As one of the organizers, we were naturally present, displaying Nexans' fiber products and components. The day brought many meaningful meetings, and Nexans' GAHSL Microribbon gained significant attention.
