Nexans Sweden is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001, which shows that our company lives up to concrete and recognized environmental requirements. These environmental requirements are collected and communicated in our environmental management system.

Within the Nexan Group, we also have an internal environmental standard and certification, EHP, Highly Protected Environment.

• REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals
  The REACH candidate list lists more than 200 particularly dangerous substances. Nexans has a process for controling our products against new substances coming up on the REACH candidate list and we follow all REACH regulations. Ever since the 1980s, we have regularly worked to substitute hazardous substances in our products and our goal is to them before they appear on the list.
   
• RoHS - Restriction of Hazardous Substances
  All cables marketed by Nexans Sweden meet the requirements of the RoHS directive. RoHS formulates restrictions on certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products.
